The Tanjong Rose Foundation believes they can eradicate the negative outcomes endured by many facing the mounting stigma of mental health services. Dr. Vera Ngezem is the founder of the company. She oversee the overall management and operations of the organization. She is a doctoral prepared psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner with training and experience treating people with psychiatric disorders across the lifespan. Dr. Vera Ngezem’s personal values are the core concept of The Tanjong Rose Foundation; uplift, empower, and purpose. She displays these everyday by uplifting people and empowering the community to find their purpose while living in their truth.
Our goal is to eliminate the barriers preventing people from receiving adequate behavioural health services, including affordability, lack of representation and the overall stigma surrounding mental health. In addition, the foundation will support, educate, and provide other mental health services such as medication management, psychotherapy, and group home services to those in the community.
